Lassen National Park

The Cascade Mountain Range has a striking allure to it that separates itself from otherregions. Lassen National Park is a unique aspect of this range that showcases the bestof all worlds. With an easily accessible road forging through the center of the park, thereis a lot to experience here–a volcanic landscape, the famous ‘devastated area,’ lavatubes, hot springs, miles of hiking trails, alpine lakes, and 10,000+ foot mountain peaks.

Perhaps the best part of Lassen is its position away from urban areas. Redding, a lesspopulated area, is only 45 minutes from the main. This park boasts less crowds, withthe same incredible views of the classic national park. For this reason alone, Lassen isa California staple, and should be included on any itinerary in the California Adventure District.
